"I didn’t plan to minor in Spanish, but the breadth and excellence of my classes really sparked my interest. Along with learning the language, we learned about the international issues affecting Central America and migration, and everything was brought home through Oxford’s weekly “theory practice / service learning” experience, where we tutored elementary-aged Hispanic students whose parents had recently immigrated to the US."
