Atlanta Global Student Engagement Program
Recognizing that Atlanta is a gateway to the world, the Office of Global Strategy and Initiatives has launched Atlanta Global Partnerships to facilitate and steward conditions for synergy among groups engaging in international work within the Emory and Atlanta communities.
Atlanta Global Partnerships seeks to implement and support student-focused programs connecting Emory and Atlanta’s global communities through enriched learning experiences. GSI’s Atlanta Global Partnership is offering the Atlanta Global Student Engagement Program for faculty and staff from schools, units, centers, and divisions to submit projects across all disciplines.
Projects should foster global engagement in Atlanta with innovative student-focused programs that provide new pathways to global collaboration or add a new component of global engagement to an existing initiative in the city. Proposals may address community issues with a global component, develop relationships with local international communities or organizations in pursuit of a shared goal, or introduce students to a culturally enriching experience to deepen awareness and participation in global citizenship.
