Liliana Lim Lam
Liliana Lim is an Immigration Specialist of International Student and Scholar Services (ISSS) in the Office of Global Strategy and Initiatives. As a first generation college student of an immigrant family, Liliana always seeks opportunities to support individuals and communities from a similar background.
While she was a student at Emory University, Liliana volunteered for various organizations in the Atlanta area to tutor immigrants ranging from children in elementary schools to teenagers in high schools in learning English. Within Emory University, Liliana mentored international students and scholars, and assisted in planning numerous programs and events for the international community.
After graduating from Emory University, Liliana was awarded the Fulbright English Teaching Assistant Award to help teach the English language and serve as a cultural ambassador in Macau. Liliana worked and resided in Macau for about a year before joining International Student and Scholar Services at Emory University—where she now continues to support its international community through immigration advising, data management, and programming.
Liliana graduated from Emory University in 2016 with a B.A. in Economics and Chinese Language and Literature.
