Leigh Herman
Leigh Herman is the Program Coordinator for Global Strategy and Initiatives. With thirteen years of experience as a secondary English and Humanities teacher in the United States, Panama, and China, Leigh has developed a deep understanding of cross-cultural collaboration and global education. She has successfully coordinated a variety of academic programs, including international service groups, professional development programs, and curricular initiatives, fostering strong partnerships with diverse stakeholders. Leigh will support key initiatives that enhance Emory’s global engagement and strategic goals. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in English and a Master of Arts in Teaching from Georgia State University. In her free time, Leigh enjoys biking, hiking, and exploring the outdoors.
