Christy Grant

Christy Grant is the Senior Associate Director for International Students and Scholar Services (ISSS) in the Office of Global Strategy and Initiatives. In this role, she  ­works with international students, scholars, and administrators regarding federal immigration and employment regulations, Emory resources, and related matters.

Christy serves as the Principal Designated School Official (PDSO) for Emory’s F-1 Program, and as the Responsible Officer (RO) for Emory’s J-1 Exchange Visitor Program.

Prior to starting at Emory, Christy worked as the Assistant Director of International Student & Scholar Services at Georgia Tech, and at the University of Toledo as the Regulatory Coordinator of ISSS. Christy began her career as a study abroad advisor at Bowling Green State University, but quickly shifted functional areas to focus on regulatory practice and international student and scholar support.

Originally from St. Croix Falls, Wisconsin, Christy earned her B.A. in International Affairs at Xavier University, followed by her M.A.in Higher Education from Bowling Green State University (OH).
