Global Recipes
Emory Global Engagement and Emory Dining partnership for International Education Week celebrates global cuisines and recipes.
Emory Dining and Emory Global Engagement invite students to submit their favorite global dish or recipe for a chance to have that dish recreated* in Dobbs Common Table during International Education Week (IEW) 2025.
These dishes could be family favorites, flavors of home, or iconic dishes experienced during travel. One or more dishes will be featured during International Education Week (November 17th - 21), and you may see more submissions featured throughout the year. Please submit your dish or recipe through the form below by October 24th, 2025.
If you have any questions, please contact Mark Seals II, Associate Director of Campus Dining, at mark.seals@emory.edu. If there is a picture you would like to share with Emory Dining to assist with creating this dish at Dobbs Common Table or to accompany the presentation of the dish, please e-mail global@emory.edu.
*Please note, the dishes selected for feature at Dobbs Common Table will be an interpretation of the dish you submit, and the interpretation of the dish may be required to adapt to large-scale cooking, ingredient availability, and allergen considerations. Dishes will be reviewed by the resident dietician to ensure the dish is sustainable and safe for the DCT.
A glimpse of Global Dining from International Education Week 2024:
In 2024, Emory Dining and Emory Global Engagement partnered to collect global recipes from Emory faculty and staff for a digital cookbook titled “Flavors of Emory: A Cookbook of Emory Faculty and Staff Global Recipes in Celebration of International Education Week.”
We invited Emory faculty and staff to submit their favorite recipes from around the world. These recipes could be cherished family recipes, culinary memories of travel, or iconic regional dishes that connect Emory faculty and staff to culture and place.
