Fulbright Emory Distinguished Chair in Brazilian Studies

The Claus M. Halle Institute for Global Learning is pleased to announce this year’s call for the semester-long Fulbright Emory Distinguished Chair in Brazilian Studies. This program strengthens cooperation between Brazilian institutions and Emory University across all schools and disciplines, including, but not limited to: humanities, biomedicine, arts, law, public health, social sciences, nursing, and business. The research produced through this cooperation will be incorporated into the teaching programs of Emory and the visiting professor’s home institution.

Please forward this call to appropriate colleagues. Emory recently welcomed to campus the 2017 Fulbright Emory Distinguished Chair, Benito Schmidt, from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul.

The Fulbright Emory Distinguished Chair will receive a maintenance stipend and funds to cover airfare and housing for one academic term to support research and teaching activities at Emory.

The deadline for applications is October 1, 2017.
