A legacy of engaged scholarship

The Halle Institute serves as Emory's premier venue for the direct exchange of ideas between Emory faculty and global experts in the areas of government, business, academia, and social entrepreneurship. The Institute organizes and sponsors expert meetings, lectures, and conferences designed to advance the scholarship of Emory faculty. It also drives Emory's strategic engagement abroad, leading the university's efforts in its five priority countries: Brazil, China, Ethiopia, India, and South Korea.

Over the nearly twenty years since the Halle Institute's founding, it has built up an impressive archive of videos and past talks. Explore the Halle Institute's past and present programs through the menu to your right (or down below if you're on mobile). For upcoming events, browse the global news center, filtering using the tag "Halle Institute".
