Coronavirus and Travel Restrictions

Emory University is closely monitoring the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak and its potential impact for students, faculty, staff, and visitors, as well as the associated recommendations from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control (CDC), the U.S. Department of State (State Department), and International SOS (ISOS).

Emory has indefinitely suspended all official and previously authorized travel for students, and staff. Faculty travel is permitted but requires appropriate return protocols and, in the case of international travel, must be approved by the Executive Travel Safety Committee (ETSC). For guidance on your specific travel plans, consult International SOS (ISOS) which provides security and medical evacuation services to the Emory community at 1-215-942-8478.
