Our global reach

This interactive global engagement map allows you to see the breadth of Emory University's global activity in the following categories: faculty engagement and expertise, international students, international scholars, international alumni, agreements and partnerships, and student global experiences. Detailed data is available to members of the Emory network, and aggregate data is available to the public.

You are encouraged to utilize the various filters for each category, including country, individual Emory school, region, and more. On the Landing page, you can click any country and see data for all categories at the bottom of the map and in a pop-up table.

Map data is derived from a variety of internal sources, including Research Administration Services, individual schools’ data, faculty surveys, Emory's Global Health Institute, and organic research conducted by the Office of Global Strategy and Initiatives. Please view the “Explanatory Notes” tab for more detailed information on how the categories are defined and where data is derived.

Any feedback, questions, or requests for faculty updates/additions/revisions should be directed toward Natalie Cruz.

To download the data, select "Download" in the bottom right menu below the map. You will then be given several options of how you can download the data.
