Meg Popick

Meg Popick is the Associate Director of Client Services for International Student and Scholar Sevices (ISSS) in the Office of Global Strategy and Initiatives. In this role, she oversees client services and the maintenance of immigration systems to ensure the best possible customer service and program management. She also works with international students, scholars, and administrators regarding federal immigration and employment regulations, Emory resources, and related matters.

Combining her interests in student affairs and foreign cultures, Meg began a career in international education. Before working at Emory, Meg was the assistant director of International Advisement at The Juilliard School as well as an international student advisor at the Georgia Institute of Technology and Boston College. Meg has also been actively involved in NAFSA: Association of International Educators. Meg has been a regulatory ombudsperson for student issues and an advocacy coordinator. She has presented at a number of state, regional, and national conferences.

Meg earned her B.S. in Molecular Biology and Modern Languages from Fairfield University and an M.A. in Higher Education Administration from Boston College.
