Mary Lynn Dalton
Mary Lynn Dalton directs communications for the Office of Global Strategy and Initiatives (GSI) and its units: Global Services, The Halle Institute for Global Research, International Student and Scholar Services (ISSS), and Atlanta Global Partnerships.
Mary Lynn joined GSI in 2018 from the Emory College Office of International and Summer Programs (OISP). Her position in GSI allows her to work at the intersection of her passion and expertise. Her experience studying abroad in Siena, Italy, and Havana, Cuba, as well as kicking off her career at Università degli Studi Roma Tre in Rome, Italy, gave her an appreciation for the extraordinary and diverse perspectives that can be gained through global experiences.
Mary Lynn earned a B.A. in Journalism and Mass Communications and a B.S. in Italian Studies from the University of Georgia and an M.A. in International Education Development from Teachers College, Columbia University. Her professional career has centered on communications roles that require a broad understanding of internationalization.
