Dr. Abebe Gebremariam named In-Country Coordinator for Ethiopia

GSI welcomes Dr. Abebe Gebremariam, project director and co-principal investigator for the Maternal and Newborn Health in Ethiopia Partnership (MaNHEP), to his new part-time role as Emory's in-country coordinator for Ethiopia. In addition to his continued work with MaNHEP, Dr. Abebe will serve as an expert resource for GSI as it works to promote and expand Emory's engagement with Ethiopia, as well as for the many Emory faculty working there. His new role constitutes a pilot program for GSI and is the next step in a phased approach to supporting faculty projects in strategy countries and increasing Emory's name recognition with regional partners and potential funders. If you would like to learn more about how this pilot effort might help you, please contact Chris Rapalje in GSI.
